Menonias

Menonias is both the world's first Arch-Magus and the first Halfling.  He trained for years as a Mystic, quickly rising through the ranks and acquiring great power and skill.  He was a gifted combatant, strategist, and mage.  But he was filled with evil intent.

 

It was this intent that kept him from becoming a Dragonmyst.  He considered this a betrayal and began a nearly century-long war against the Dragons and the Elves who he blamed for his dishonor.  Before his fall, he prophesied that his three heirs would reclaim his lost legacy.
